DESIGN
THE
SYSTEM.

An open design framework for AI-native products. Built around human intent, not just interfaces.

01 / The premiseBeyond the interface

THE INTERFACE
IS NOT THE
SYSTEM.

AI products do more than display information. They interpret, reason, decide, act, and learn.

TUN defines the relationship between humans, AI, agents, data, tools, decisions, actions, and learning. A shared language for designing intelligent systems people can understand and control.

FROM INTENT
TO OUTCOME.

A simple structure for complex intelligence. Each stage makes the system more legible and accountable.

01 / 05

Ask

Understand intent.

02 / 05

Think

Interpret context.

03 / 05

Propose

Make choices clear.

04 / 05

Act

Execute with authority.

05 / 05

Learn

Improve from outcomes.

For consequential actionsAsk → Think → Propose → Approve → Act → Verify → Learn
03 / PrinciplesEight foundations

BUILT ON
PRINCIPLE.

A system should remain understandable and under human direction, even as its intelligence grows.

01 / 08

Transparent

Make actions, information, and intent understandable.

02 / 08

User sovereign

Keep meaningful human control in the loop.

03 / 08

Natural

Let people express intent in their own language.

04 / 08

Systemic

Design relationships, not isolated screens.

05 / 08

Adaptive

Respond to context without becoming unpredictable.

06 / 08

Reversible

Make important actions inspectable and correctable.

07 / 08

Composable

Build with interoperable parts and clear boundaries.

08 / 08

Calm

Surface what matters. Keep complexity underneath.

INTENT,
MADE VISIBLE.

A shared visual language for intelligent products.

Light and dark themes, semantic AI states, and explicit controls translate the specification into a working token package. Color describes a state; it never grants authority or proves an outcome.

142 declared contrast pairs checked. Token-level validation only — not an accessibility certification. The browser specimen simulates its approval flow; it does not publish or save data.
